About GFYC
Founded in 1870 and situated on the picturesque location of the Red River, Grand Forks Yacht Club has the proud distinction of being the city’s first and oldest private club. Membership has grown from a single founding yachtsmen, Captain Alexander Griggs, to hundreds over the decades, and the original spirit of camaraderie and goodwill are stronger than ever.
